A visual preference setting.

My wife has pointed out that when there is a lot of stuff going on the screen she quickly loses track of which char is hers (happens to us all, don't laugh).

She suggested an "opacity" setting for party member chars. So you can "fade" your party members out so you can really focus on owning the mobs without constantly wasting time/mana on attacks at your party members or their pets or losing track of which Barb is yours.

Gimme some feedback.|||The reduced party size in D3 will certainly help with this.

Though instead of an always-on setting for fading out other players, I think a better solution would be a "highlight me" button. Just hold H (or some other button), and everything besides you gets darkened while your character glows.|||I like that idea. But more times than not, it's the skills of the other party members that get in the way. There's actually a lot of options that would make it easier to see, and most likely, they're easy to implement.

Party Opacity

Player Opacity|||Larger resolution -> larger view of the area -> less people in party should do it.|||You're prolly right.

The reduced party size is four now?

I hope so.

8 was kinda over kill in D2.|||yeah, i think 4 or 5 is just about right.
