New ways to die!!

In the game trailers the fatality type moves performed on players were stated to be simply for demonstrative purposes and not to be implemented in the game, but they should be! That would sooo awesome to have and they could have many different animations for each boss. Sorry I may just play to much Mortal Kombat on my 64 but this just sounds like it would be an awesome way to incorporate a more evil and gruesome feel. May have been mentioned, but this is too awesome not to be mentioned again. Someone please post this on the official D3 forums.|||Bashiok is aware of this reaction - you're not the only one. And as far as I know, they are looking for ways to implement this in the actual game. Any proof it "certainly" will be included, or are we spewing out non-sense in hopes of attention?|||they could at least make it as a special animation that is sometimes played when a monster kills a player. (for example if a normal attack is rolled to hit and deal fatal damage, instead of the normal attack animation it could be a chance that the monster visibly crushes/cleaves/impales/devours the player).|||why show it one the gameplay and don't put it in the final game?|||Because that video is there to make people interested in the game, not to give a realistic view of the gameplay.|||Quote:

Thats an excellent idea. I wholeheartedly agree. I play a lot of hardcore, so anything which is a one hit kill makes me squirm. This is a genius way to incorporate those fairly cool animations without the requirement of stupidly overpowered monsters.|||um i mean i dont see why not... i mean maybe they will be finishing moves if player has like 10 per cent hp or something of the sort no? i can see it work, maybe even just straight up numbers, like if its obvious the enemy will kill with the blow, maybe it could be the OVERKILL animation.
