Turning items to horizontal

I have played Diablo 2 many years, and this one little problem has been picking on me all the time. When u have your lowest inventory level filled with charms, u cant pick up items which take eight space from whole inventory are. So, my idea is that u can turn them from vertical to horizontal. It stills take eight space, but u can pick it up, because its horizontal. When you are picking it up, you could click right button on mouse and it turns from vertical to horizontal. Click again, back to vertical. My English isn't the best, but i hope u all understood, what i am saying. I also don't know have anyone else introduces this idea before, if has, admins are free to delete this thread.

So, what you think about this idea?|||In the inventory they have shown, each item takes one slot. So no need to turn anything.|||^ They scrapped the one-item-per-slot thing, bud. We're back to multi-block items.

Thank god, too.|||Ah ! You are right ! Sorry, I missed the latest evolution (one year ago...).

Apparently, it is a bit different as the object take only one or two slots (never more than two slots).|||Ah so its more a compromise,probably from people saying a ring should not take the same space as body armour but people not wanting a Tetris mini game back.
