Servers instead of Games? :P

[:1]Hey everyone. Wouldn't it be kinda cool if it was servers, so that everyone could meet instead of games with player cap?

This is just an idea and I know that it probably will be "Games", but...

It's better to suggest than not to |||No. How would boss runs work?

Youd need respawn mobs which would get tedious|||Id like it a lot if they did it the server way. Much like they do with Guildwars where you can co-mingle in town and then once you party up you are instanced to your own little world once ya leave town.|||Quote:

So basically you want an mmo?|||The guild wars style is good, but aren't you forgetting something. Town portals don't exist on guild wars. Everytime your inventory is full, or you are in deep **** or something, and you have to go back to town, the next time you enter that zone it is a new instance and lo and behold, you have to clear all that which you just cleared. Diablo-way is much better. You can actually clear the game in a single game, and then when you go back to andariel's lair to pick up some goods, they are still there and everyone's dead. Woohoo.. Not to mention storing stuff in town, quick town entering and exiting..

But I heard something about town portals not being in Diablo 3? I don't know..

Anyway, Guild Wars can be a mighty frustrating game of repetition with no adventure or loot - don't go there.|||Well.. having towns as lobby would indeed add some social part to the game. And that in GW instances will reset isn't any argument. It would not have to be this way in D3. If I remember correctly they even considered something like this for D2. But had no time to implement it. Or maybe it wasn't "shared-towns", but rather separate "lobby-town" from where you were able to join games.
