[:1]My Top Wish List, and important things.
1 - Verticality (use of stairs as advantage) - target and hit monsters from the top of stairs with spells. VERY important. otherwise it kills the immersion. Dungeon Siege had that...c'mon.. Also make it possible to shift click in front of a monster to target the ground there and to be able to shoot there with spells and with exploding arrows/bolts. See my post titled "Congratulations & Questions" 2010-july-08.
2 - Socketables : Ideas : Star gems, Obsidian stones, pearls and Crystals, Blood Diamonds, bones and a variety of creature's skulls.
3 - Skill runes into items : Different effect, related effect, set (predefined effect) ?
4 - Different metals for items : That's where the "Silver" in the title comes from. For old-time gamers, that's as in Might & Magic IV-V : Metals :
Wooden, Glass, Brass, Bronze, Quartz, Pearl, Crystal, Silver, Amber, Ebony, Steel, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Ruby, Saphire, Diamond, Obsidian.
Then add Ivory, Bone, Meteoric, Adamantite, Amethyst, Topaz, etc.
Perhaps Living ? Demonic and Heavenly. Particular effects ? Demonic = Cursed ? Both identical in shape and identification ?
As I mentionned earlier Blood Diamond : To emphasize that there could be subtypes of gems. So many types of Diamond. Many types of Wood...
And notice, all point 4 is about "metals", so you get an Obsidian Hand Axe (very good) and a Wooden Hand Axe (Poor)
5 - Unsocketing at low cost : Again see my post "Congratulations and Questiosn" where I discuss this. It's as in Median, where you finally socket that super nice rare jewel. This is where the rare Circlet you found with a single socket is finally socketed.(because otherwise I wait to find a better socketable rune or rare jewel...) It's time consuming and costs just 3 scroll of TP. A low cost.
6 - Shared stash & Exchange Method : A must. For Single Players. Otherwise, I'll do anything to use a simple "Item exchanger".
