The "lowly" crossbow made the knights and heavy armored fighters obsolete in no time at all. Guns made it even worst. It takes very little skill to kill with a gun at short range.
smooth barrel guns and cannons are some of the most terrifying tools of war ever made.
A cannon which is what Larzuk talked about as well as air balloons will not kill a boss pack it will turn it into a red mist of broken pieces.
You do know the damage multi projectile cannonballs tied together did on early battlefield don�t you?
not to mention the early lets put smaller projectiles along side nails and other nasty stuff idea. It worked very well. To well for my taste.
If we have guns in the game why the heck ever use anything else?
People don�t bring a sword to a gun fight now days(outside movies and suicidal maniacs) for this very reason.
More so all you need to do with a gun is aim and shot. your opponent can be better,stronger, more well armed(talking about medieval armor here), more experienced no matter what if you can aim and shot and hit them they will be dead.|||Your gun won't matter if my throwing knife autoaims and rips through several sheets of metal now would it? Also, didn't bullets use to flatten on impact?
